On Friday the 28th of October at 20.30 LiberaMente will held a public debate at the Free University Bolzano (Aula D102)

LiberaMente can be defined as a fully participatory democracy project. What does it mean exactly? Although this definition is used often, this happens in many cases without knowing what it really means.

The slovenian philopher Slavoj Žižek gives his point of view on the UK Riots and the protest movements around the world. It is assumed that they express a deep unease. What kind of unease is it?

LiberaMente is not just a local experience, but an experience that would like to go upon our borders. So we believe that take part to international exchanges, meetings, camps etc. related with our think-tank is a great opportunity. So in this new section you'll find the news about this!

Otranto Legality Experience is a unique opportunity to investigate issues related to the relationship between organised crime and globalisation, through workshops, seminars and discussions held by Italian and international speakers.

Organised by FLARE Network, the event is held in Lecce and Otranto from 5th to 11th of September 2011.

The goal is to develop and set a benchmark in Europe for the role of civil society in combating transnational organised crime.

The 2010 edition of the event was attended by more than 60 speakers and more than 200 members. Media partners of the event were Current TV Italy, Lastampa.it, La Gazzetta del Mezzogiorno and Telenorba.
