Discussing Youth-Led Development: How can young people lead the change?

[News]

In the era we are living in, the demand for more participation is getting stronger and stronger. At the same time participation implies more dimensions as those generally assumed.
The internet offers as a technology interactive ways of access of information, mass-mobilitation and fast communication which are an integral part of the daily life of young people.
Is the digital engagement the antidot against the growing political apathy of the youth? How can the web engage young people involving them in the political processes? In which way does active citizenship usual forms of participation interact with digital eParticipation? How much collaboration does participation need?

We´ll try to find answers to these (and many more) questions with the help of our guests:

Samir Allioui aka coretx - Co-Chairman of the Pirate Party International and President of the Pirate Party of the Netherlands http://bit.ly/amfvDv
Fida Hammami - Tunisian League for the defense of Human Rights
Thameur Mekki - cyberactivist, blogger and freelance journalist and responsible of tekiano.com
Christian Tommasini - Vice-President of the Autonomous Province of Bolzano

The discussion will be moderated by Luca DeBiase, journalist of "Nòva24", the tecnological magazine of the daily newspaper Sole 24 Ore (http://blog.debiase.com/)
